DAYNA MONTEAGUDO RODRÍGUEZ nació en Puerto Rico y se crio en el Bronx, Nueva York. Asistió a la Universidad de Puerto Rico, en Río Piedras, donde recibió un Bachillerato en Trabajo Social. Se desempeñó como trabajadora social por más de dieciocho años, por lo que ayudó a numerosas mujeres brindando servicios de asesoramiento, apoyo y planificación de seguridad. En la actualidad, Dayna y su familia viven en Orlando, Florida, y trabaja como Directora Escolar en una academia cristiana privada. Además, es autora del superventas Desde el corazón de una amiga. Felizmente casada por veintiún años, Dayna y su esposo, Edgar Cortés, tienen dos preciosos hijos. Dayna Monteagudo Rodríguez was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, New York. She worked as a Social Worker for over eighteen years for different non-profit organizations and agencies such as the Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women (OVW), Department of Family and Children and the Department of Health-ASSMCA with the Drug Court program. As a Social Worker, she assisted numerous women by providing counseling services, support, safety planning and by finding transitional housing for them. In 2016, Dayna and her husband decided to move their family from Puerto Rico to Orlando, Florida. She obtained a position as a School Director at a private Christian academy. Happily married for twenty-one years, she has two beautiful children.
