(from a .70 ha parcel of 50+ year old vines). This is also very ripe but not roasted or jammy though the nose does have a liqueur-like character from the cassis, poached plum and dark cherry scents. There is even more volume to the big-bodied and prominently muscular flavors that possess excellent mid-palate density while delivering impressive length on the austere, serious and beautifully long if ever-so-mildly warm finale. Note that this too is excellent but very much constructed to age over the longer-term.
