Made out of Albariño grapes native to the coastal regions of northwest Spain, Mar de Frades Albariño is a vibrant, 100% Albariño white wine from the Rías Baixas region in northwest Spain. Known for its crisp, ocean-influenced character, it features bright tropical fruit and citrus flavors alongside a distinct, refreshing salinity.

• Color: Pale lemon with greenish or lime highlights.
• Nose: Fresh and intense aromas of green apple, grapefruit, and tropical mango, beautifully balanced with white flowers, mint, and subtle eucalyptus notes.
• Palate: Crisp and zesty entry leading into a medium-bodied, fluid mid-palate. Flavors of star fruit, white peach, and lemon fill the mouth, ending with a signature salty finish and lively minerality.
• Alcohol: Typically sits at around 12.45% to 12.6% ABV.

Winemaking Details

• The Grapes: Hand-harvested and strictly sorted to keep only the highest quality fruit.
• The Process: Fermented in stainless steel tanks using ambient yeasts, and aged on its fine lees for about six months to add texture and depth. Lees refers to the leftover dead yeast cells that add a creamy, rich mouthfeel to wines.

Unique Feature: The Magic Label

• Heat-Sensitive Ink: The bottle's label features a hidden ship (a "barco") above the waves.
• Temperature Indicator: When the wine reaches its ideal, chilled serving temperature (around 10-12°C), the ship becomes visible on the label.
