This is a sterling silver necklace with a round Cross Pendant. The pendant has an open design, possibly Celtic. For the Celts, the Celtic cross represented the union of the divine and the earthly. Its four arms symbolize the elements of nature (earth, air, fire and water) and the interconnection between them. The shape of the Celtic cross, with a circle at the crossing of the arms, can also symbolize eternity and the cycle of life. The cross pendant is on a long sterling silver chain that is 17 inches long. It is in excellent condition.
