The Notifier / System Sensor FPTI-951AUS plug-in intelligent multi-criteria technology, combines the features and benefits of a heat detector, photo-electric smoke detector and infrared detection within its modern white contemporary design.

This approach enables enhanced sensitivity to real fire with heightened immunity to deceptive particulates, a common cause of nuisance alarms.

• Photoelectric sensors detect airborne particles associated with smoke.
• Thermal sensors detect fixed-temperature heat at 57 °C threshold and rate-of-rise (differential heat change over time) algorithm.
• The Infrared sensor discerns light patterns in the environment as an additional data point for alarm determination.

The Notifier FPTI-951AUS has the ability to sense fire conditions from a wider range of sources where moderate to heavy nuisance conditions exist that might normally cause other detectors to activate an alarm condition.

• Detector sensitivity can be programmed in the control panel software;
• Sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel from each detector;
• Quick fit lock in system for speedy replacement;
• Point ID capability allows each detector's address to be easily set with a pair of rotary address switches, providing exact detector location for selective maintenance when chamber contamination reaches an unacceptable level;
• Removable cover and insect-resistant screen for simple field cleaning.

FPTI-951AUS detectors are compatible with all Notifier intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panels ("FACP") such as a Notifier 2800 and Notifier 3030 in Flashscan mode.
