This dress is stunning.

A rare find from the esteemed Blackshire boutique of Paris and New York, this whisper sheer 1920s silk chiffon dress features an incredible Nouveau inspired elegant print in vivid purple, orchid, blue, goldenrod and orange on a cream background. Slightly dropped waist shirred at center of hips and shoulders, long sleeves with ruffles on back of arm and covered button accents at wrist that snap shut behind. Double scarf "bow" at v neck. Dress is lined in a deep purple silk charmeuse. Has loops and snaps to hold straps of a slip one would wear underneath. I cannot recall seeing anything from this era in such brilliant colors and superb, solid and wearable condition! Does have the very faintest of yellowing just at underarm, but no weakening of textile. Small water line on hem in back- both minor issues get lost in the print.
