The EF215P is a 2-way active loudspeaker with innovative processing. It is the only double 15-inch cabinet in the Elite series, and offers the best low-frequency projection of any full-range loudspeaker in the Yorkville catalog. It has been meticulously designed to sound absolutely massive. The speaker offers flexible connectivity with a simple interface. The Main In accepts XLR and 1/4” TRS line level connections. An internal mixer can be engaged to add 1/8” TRS and 1/4” TRS or XLR line inputs plus a mic input with level controls, or bypassed when not needed for the lowest noise floor. A Thru jack allows up to sixteen EF-Series powered cabinets to be linked and driven from a single source. Buttons on the rear panel let you cycle between EQ voicings including a customizable user preset, filter signals below 100 Hz so an external crossover isn’t required when using a subwoofer, and pair a Bluetooth® device to control speaker parameters using the free companion app. A 900-watt amplifier powers the 15-inch woofers, and a 3-tier 300-watt amplifier drives the 3-inch horn. An active DSP-based crossover protects the speakers and ensures deep bass, clear mids, and smooth highs. Class D amplifiers, neodymium speaker magnets, and Baltic birch construction keep the total weight below 95 pounds while maintaining classic Elite ruggedness and durability. The multi-angle enclosure, pioneered for the Elite line, enables the EF215P to operate vertically on a stand or horizontally as a stage monitor.
