Their partnership began in 2017 when Salvatore Leonardo first acquired Brooks’ distinctive PM1 resin rods, marking the start of a creative bond that continues to inspire collectors worldwide.

Design Inspiration

Primary Manipulation 1 (Vesuvius 2025) with silver trim draws inspiration from the mysterious beauty of volcanic landscapes. Its warm, flowing colors reflect the shifting tones of molten lava and glowing ash, capturing both power and elegance in a single form.

Leonardo Officina Italiana was the first writing instrument manufacturer to produce series pens using Jonathon Brooks’ materials—recognizing early their expressive potential and their resonance with the international pen community.
