This collection celebrates the enduring friendship and collaboration between Leonardo Officina Italiana and Jonathon Brooks of Carolina Pen Company. Their partnership began in 2017, when Salvatore Leonardo reached out to Jonathon to purchase his unique PM1 resin rods — a collaboration that has since blossomed into a creative journey blending Italian craftsmanship with American artistry.

Design Inspiration

Primary Manipulation 4 (Version 2025) with refined rose gold trim captures an elegant fusion of cool pink, blue, and purple tones. The interplay of these colors creates a sophisticated and luminous appearance — fresh yet bold, delicate yet full of character. This colorway embodies artistic contrast and modern elegance, making it a perfect expression of balance and style.

Leonardo Officina Italiana was the first pen maker to produce serialized writing instruments using Jonathon Brooks’ resins, recognizing their expressive potential and deep appeal within the global fountain pen community.
